People will tell you that you can go through a program called Get Checking………..that is if they have it in your area.
People will tell you to try a Credit Union. That’s good if you have one hefty deposit to lay down as a sign of good faith. Do you have that kind of deposit?
Some people will say hey, sure you can get a checking account with bad credit. But, how will you know until you apply? Let’s say they run the credit check on you first and come back and deny you. It’s best to know upfront isn’t it? Simply call the bank first. I have stressed this numerous times on this site. They aren’t going to know who you are so why be embarrassed to ask over the phone?
