Checking Accounts with Bad Credit

More and more people are being turned away for Checking Accounts because of bad credit.

Alot of people do not even realize that when they get to the bank that they are going to run a credit check. I personally, do not understand why a Credit Check is needed to open a checking account but some banks will do this.

So if you have bad credit some banks will not approve you for a Checking Account. And if you are in Chexsystems you definitely won’t be approved for a Checking Account.

People who are in Chexsystems and don’t have bad credit get denied. And people who have bad credit and are not in Chexsystems get denied. Where do banks draw the line?

I don’t know what’s worse now-a-days. Being in Chexsystems for 5 years or having bad credit for 7 years. Amazing. People who are in Chexsystems messed up their past bank accounts. So unfortunately, they are penalized in the banking community (world) for 5 years. But people with bad credit have messed up their Credit Cards, Bills or Medical Bills etc., what the heck does that have to do with a checking account?

Why can’t people with bad credit get a checking account? Not fair at all. That’s just my opinion!
